Privacy policy

Your artwork stays yours.

This policy explains what LumaForge Studio processes when you draw, edit photos, use AI tools, or buy Premium.

1. Who is responsible

LumaForge Studio is the developer of the LumaForge Studio drawing and photo-editing application. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at xghelpdesk@gmail.com.

This policy applies to the Android app. It does not replace the privacy policies of Google Play or third-party services used by optional features.

2. Data processed by the app

  • Artwork and photos: the editor works with images you select through Android’s system picker and with the canvas in the app. The app does not send ordinary editing activity or artwork to LumaForge servers; we do not operate an app account or our own cloud storage.
  • Saving and export: you choose when and where to export an image using Android’s document picker. The current app does not automatically save a permanent project file, so export your work before closing if you want to keep it.
  • Preferences: language, appearance and a grid preference are stored locally on your device.
  • Diagnostics and advertising: the app includes no advertising SDK and no analytics or crash-reporting service operated by us.
In short: outside the optional AI feature and Google Play purchase flow, image editing is performed on your device.

3. Optional AI features (Puter)

AI Studio is optional. If you use it, the app loads Puter’s JavaScript service and sends the prompt you enter and, for image-editing tasks, the current image to Puter and/or the AI model selected in the service so it can provide the requested result. You may be asked to sign in to a Puter account. Puter may apply its own usage limits or charges to your Puter account.

The generated result is returned to the app and added as a new image layer. LumaForge does not receive the AI prompt or image through our own servers. Data handled by Puter is subject to Puter’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Review them before using AI, especially before submitting personal, confidential, or sensitive images.

The app temporarily uses its private cache to pass the selected image to AI Studio and receive the result. Android may clear this cache; it is not a permanent project backup.

4. Premium purchases

Premium purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles checkout, payment credentials, purchase receipts, refunds and payment-related account information under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

The app stores a local Premium entitlement state and can query Google Play to restore and verify purchases. We do not receive your payment method. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

LumaForge does not maintain a developer-operated account database or server-side artwork library. App preferences and purchase-state information remain in app storage on your device. You can remove local app data or uninstall the app in Android settings. Exported files are saved to the location you select and must be managed or deleted there.

AI requests and any Puter account data are handled by Puter according to its policy. To request access to, correction or deletion of data held by us, email xghelpdesk@gmail.com. For data held by Google or Puter, contact those providers directly.

6. Security

Artwork is processed locally for standard editing, and the app limits access to images you choose through Android’s picker. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the AI feature only with content you are comfortable sharing with the selected external provider, and keep exported copies in a location you trust.

7. Your choices

  • You can use the editor without signing in; Puter sign-in is only for optional AI-service interactions.
  • You choose whether to send a prompt or image to the AI service.
  • You choose where to export images, and can clear app data or uninstall the app.
  • You can contact us about privacy requests at any time.

8. Children’s privacy

LumaForge does not knowingly collect personal information through its own servers from children. AI and purchase features are provided by third parties and are subject to their age and consent requirements. Parents or guardians can contact us if they believe a child has provided us with personal information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised policy is published.
